After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics in 2014 at Staffordshire University I have since pursued a career in the World Wide Web. Being a very digitally-focused university, much of my degree covered the use of coding in digital applications to solve problems. Over time I have equipped myself with all the skills and knowledge I need to design and develop high-quality websites.
With multiple years experience working in an edTech start-up which educated entrepreneurs and students on how to start and run an online-orientated business I am well-equipped to apply a lot of the same knowledge and techniques when approaching work for you. Also during my time working there I spent a lot of time on thinking up and designing efficient systems for future-proofing and optimising the time-on-task for users.
With a large focus towards eLearning, I later developed an LMS for the same company. Requiring a lot of planning and strategy around making the systems efficient for the users, keeping it future-proofed and easily maintainable and also making it fun, enjoyable and gamifying it through design to keep the students engaged with the content. Websites represent and get your brand across to your audience; and through this experience, I have learnt how to clearly best achieve this.
With a logical and problem-solving approach through efficient time and money saving systems, I strive to produce exceptional websites and user-experiences that represent your brand on the world wide web.
